Seongmin Lee is an incoming Machine Learning Engineer at Adobe. Her research advances AI safety by developing visual and algorithmic explanations that help people understand the reasons and mechanisms behind AI behaviors, and take actionable steps to mitigate risks. She received her Ph.D. from Georgia Tech, advised by Polo Chau, and B.S. from Seoul National University where she was supported by Presidential Science Scholarship. Throughout her research, she has collaborated with researchers and developers at Adobe, Google, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Cisco Systems, IBM Research, ADP, Travelers, and AVAST Software.
